Draw Badly on Purpose is a playful, permission-giving workshop for people who have become afraid of the blank page, or convinced they are “not creative.” Participants deliberately make imperfect, awkward and surprising drawings, using simple prompts that bypass judgment and perfectionism. The point is not to learn how to draw correctly. It is to rediscover curiosity, loosen control and experience what becomes possible when making something good is no longer the assignment.
Meet Barbara
Barbara Mosher
Barbara Mosher is an abstract artist, former Chevrolet studio designer, entrepreneur and experienced educator who has spent more than 40 years moving between art, design and business. She has taught studio art, led Artist’s Way seminars and developed creative workshops for adults. Her work centers on curiosity, permission and the overlooked possibilities that appear when people stop trying to get everything right. She is the author of Draw Badly on Purpose.
