Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: December 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of workshops, memberships, and related services offered by Bored Peach Club Ltd. (“Boring Workshops”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By purchasing a workshop or membership, you agree to these Terms, subject to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
1. General Terms
1.1 Scope
These Terms apply to:
- Individual online and in-person workshop bookings
- The Boring Membership
- Associated membership benefits, events, and digital resources
Additional conditions may apply to specific workshops, events, promotions, or partner offers. Any material conditions will be communicated before purchase or booking.
1.2 Booking & Availability
All workshops require advance booking unless otherwise stated.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A booking is confirmed only once you receive confirmation from Boring Workshops.
Membership does not guarantee availability for any particular workshop or event.
1.3 Payments
All prices, including applicable taxes and any additional charges, will be displayed at checkout.
Payment must be completed before a workshop booking or membership becomes active, unless otherwise agreed.
1.4 Refunds & Consumer Rights
Purchases are generally non-refundable, except where expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
1.5 Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable, consumers purchasing services online have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of concluding the contract, without giving a reason.
Certain exceptions may apply, including qualifying leisure activities booked for a specific date or period.
If a customer expressly requests that services begin during the withdrawal period, Boring Workshops may be entitled to proportionate payment for services already provided, provided the applicable legal requirements are met.
The withdrawal right may cease once a service has been fully performed, where the customer has given the legally required prior express consent and acknowledgment.
Access to prerecorded digital content may be subject to separate withdrawal rules and consent requirements.
Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, customers may exercise it by emailing hello@boringworkshops.com or using the withdrawal function provided on our website.
We will acknowledge withdrawal requests and process any refunds due within the legally required period, generally within 14 days of receiving a valid withdrawal notice.
A statutory model withdrawal form and an online withdrawal function are available on our withdrawal page.
1.6 Non-Transferability
Workshop bookings and memberships are personal and may not be transferred, resold, or assigned to another person, except where expressly permitted under a specific membership benefit, such as Bring a Bored Friend.
Rescheduling a workshop booking under Section 2.3 does not constitute a transfer to another person.
1.7 Misuse & Fraud
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access in cases of reasonably suspected fraud, misuse, or serious violations of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we may request clarification before taking action.
Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
2. Individual Workshop Bookings
2.1 Booking Confirmation
Individual workshops can be purchased separately without a Boring Membership.
Each confirmed booking provides access to the specific workshop purchased.
2.2 Cancellation & Refunds
Workshop bookings are generally non-refundable once confirmed, subject to applicable statutory withdrawal and refund rights.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to reschedule to a future session of the same workshop under Section 2.3.
2.3 Rescheduling
If you cannot attend a booked workshop, you may request to reschedule your booking to a future session of the same workshop.
Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and applies only to another session of the same workshop.
Requests received less than 24 hours before the workshop may not be accommodated.
Rescheduling does not permit transferring a booking to another person.
2.4 Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Participants are expected to join workshops on time.
Late arrivals may miss part of the workshop or may not be admitted where late participation would disrupt the session.
Missed workshops, late arrivals, and no-shows do not automatically entitle participants to a refund or replacement session, except where required by applicable law.
3. The Boring Membership
3.1 Membership Duration
The Boring Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or the activation date confirmed at checkout.
Membership fees are paid annually in advance.
The membership expires automatically at the end of the 12-month period and does not renew automatically.
No cancellation is required.
3.2 Membership Renewal
Members may purchase a new 12-month membership before their current membership expires.
Boring Workshops will send a renewal reminder approximately 30 days before the membership expiration date.
Renewal requires an active purchase and payment by the member. No payment will be collected automatically.
If a membership is not renewed, access to membership benefits ends upon expiration.
3.3 Membership Benefits
During the active membership period, members receive the following benefits:
a) Members' Calendar
Unlimited participation in a selected range of free online workshops listed in the Members' Calendar, subject to availability.
Workshops must be booked in advance, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The selection of included workshops may change throughout the year, provided that the overall membership offering is not materially reduced.
b) Member Pricing
Members receive discounted pricing on eligible online and in-person workshops that are not included in the free Members' Calendar.
Applicable discounts will be displayed or communicated at the time of booking.
c) Boring Library
Members receive access to the Boring Library, containing recordings of selected online workshops.
Not all workshops will necessarily be recorded or made available.
Recordings are provided for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be downloaded, reproduced, shared, or distributed without permission, unless expressly authorised.
Access to the Boring Library ends when the membership expires.
d) Boring Hour
Members may participate in Boring Hour, an online community meetup generally held every two weeks on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM Central European Time (CET/CEST, as applicable).
Dates, times, and frequency may occasionally change. Any changes will be communicated to members.
e) Quarterly Members' Events
Members are invited to quarterly in-person gatherings organised by Boring Workshops in Malta or other locations.
Attendance may be subject to registration and capacity limitations.
Any additional attendance fees, where applicable, will be clearly communicated before registration.
Travel, accommodation, and personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.
f) Bring a Bored Friend
Members may invite one friend to attend one eligible workshop free of charge per calendar quarter during their active membership.
Eligible workshops will be identified by Boring Workshops in advance.
The benefit is subject to availability and applicable booking conditions.
Unused guest invitations do not accumulate or carry over into subsequent quarters.
g) Annual Ballot
Boring Workshops intends to organise an annual promotional prize draw offering one eligible member the opportunity to win a one-week stay at the Bored Peach Club House in Gozo, Malta.
The draw will be organised subject to any required regulatory authorisation and applicable laws.
Separate official prize draw rules specify eligibility, participation conditions, selection procedures, prize details, exclusions, and applicable taxes or expenses.
Participation will be available only where legally permitted.
The promotion will not be conducted unless the applicable legal and regulatory requirements have been satisfied.
3.4 Personal Use
Memberships are personal and linked to the email address used at registration.
Membership access and benefits may not be transferred, resold, or shared with other individuals unless expressly permitted, such as through the Bring a Bored Friend benefit.
3.5 Early Termination & Refunds
Members may choose to stop using their membership at any time.
However, the membership remains valid until the end of the 12-month period, and no partial refund will generally be provided for unused membership time or benefits, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws or expressly agreed by Boring Workshops.
Statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
3.6 Changes to Membership Benefits
Boring Workshops may make reasonable changes to workshop schedules, participating partners, event locations, and individual membership activities for legitimate operational reasons.
Such changes will not materially reduce the overall value or essential benefits of the membership purchased.
Where a significant change to an agreed benefit becomes necessary, affected members will be informed in advance where reasonably possible.
If a material reduction cannot be avoided, members will be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include an alternative benefit, a proportionate refund, or termination rights, as required by applicable law.
4. Online Workshop Access
Online workshops are accessed through a link or platform communicated before the scheduled session.
Participants are responsible for:
- Having a stable internet connection
- Using a compatible device
- Ensuring access to the relevant online platform
- Joining the workshop on time
Boring Workshops is not responsible for access issues caused solely by participants' own devices, internet connections, or technical setup.
If a technical issue within our control prevents delivery of a workshop, we will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.
5. Changes, Cancellations & Rescheduling by Boring Workshops
We may occasionally need to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.
If this happens, we will notify affected participants as soon as reasonably possible.
Where a workshop is rescheduled, participants may be offered a place on the new date.
If the alternative date is unsuitable or the workshop is cancelled without an equivalent replacement, participants may be entitled to a refund or another appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.
For workshops included in the free Members' Calendar, we may offer an alternative session where reasonably available.
We are not responsible for additional travel, accommodation, or other expenses resulting from changes or cancellations, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6. Participant Conduct
All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors, organisers, and fellow participants.
Participants must not:
- Disrupt workshops or community events
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- Share private workshop access links without permission
- Record or distribute workshop content without authorisation
- Misuse workshop materials or membership benefits
We reserve the right to remove participants from a session or restrict access in cases of serious misconduct.
Any resulting cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, including presentations, templates, recordings, exercises, and other resources, remain the intellectual property of Bored Peach Club Ltd. or their respective creators.
Participants receive a limited, personal, non-commercial right to use materials made available to them for their own learning and participation.
Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, publicly shared, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to participants.
8. Workshop Hosting Proposals
Boring Workshops welcomes proposals from individuals interested in hosting workshops.
By submitting a proposal, you acknowledge that:
- Your proposal may be reviewed and evaluated by our team
- Submission does not guarantee acceptance or a response
- Separate contractual terms will apply if a collaboration is agreed
Submitting a proposal does not, by itself, transfer ownership of your intellectual property to Boring Workshops.
9. Corporate & Private Workshops
Boring Workshops may also offer private workshops, team sessions, retreats, and customised events for businesses and organisations.
These services may be subject to separate agreements, pricing, cancellation policies, and booking conditions.
Where separate written terms apply, they will take precedence over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Boring Workshops is not responsible for losses arising solely from:
- Technical problems attributable to participants
- Failure to attend a booked workshop
- Late arrivals or personal scheduling conflicts
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such liability may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or death where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or failure to fulfil essential contractual obligations where exclusion would be unlawful or unfair.
Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory statutory remedies or consumer rights.
11. Privacy & Personal Data
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
Personal data may be used to manage bookings, memberships, payments, communications, and workshop participation.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy published on our website.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal requirements.
The version applicable at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase and its agreed membership period.
Changes affecting existing contractual rights will only be implemented where legally permitted and, where required, with appropriate notice or consent.
The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
Where a customer qualifies as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protections applicable under the laws of their country of habitual residence, where those protections apply under relevant conflict-of-law rules.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights relating to jurisdiction or access to legal remedies.
